ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – PART TIME

Encounter Church (EC) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support of the vision and direction of EC leadership. Candidates for this position must be friendly, professional, and capable of managing and prioritizing a variety of tasks while interacting with diverse individuals from various backgrounds. To successfully serve in this position, the Administrative Assistant must personally, professionally, and spiritually embrace the vision and core values of EC.

Some essential Job Functions:

• Provide direct administrative support for EC staff
• Provide a welcoming and pleasant experience to all guests via telephone, electronic media and in person.
• Proficient with Mac and MS Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Assist EC Pastoral team members with daily activities and events to increase the team’s organization and productivity.
• Serve as, liaison to internal departments, church members and representatives of outside organizations.

Must be born again and an active member of Encounter Church. Some weekend work hours will be required. Schedule: Sunday – Thursday 20 hrs/week. Salary $14-18 per hour.

WORSHIP PASTOR

Encounter Church Denver (EC) is looking for a Spirit-filled, dynamic Worship Pastor to lead all aspects of the EC music worship program.  This position ensures the continuing progress and enhancement of the diverse music styles used throughout EC services and ministries to assure the integration of vocal, instrumental, special music, and drama into a meaningful worship experience.

Provides leadership to worship and praise needs of respective peripheral EC ministries, interfacing with subordinates and department leaders to develop, coordinate, and provide Fine Arts support to pastors and lay leaders of each ministry.  Supervises the staff of the worship team and provides leadership to volunteers in the music program at EC, which includes recruitment and development of volunteers.  Provides pastoral support and leadership to department and volunteers in the EC music ministry.

This position requires advanced knowledge of music, including composing, arranging, and scoring; the ability to coordinate and conduct multiple aspects of musical production. Understanding, influencing, and serving people is an important element of this position Skill in playing a minimum of one instrument and strong vocal music training are required.  Along with your resume, you must email a video sample of worship, profiling your musical ability.
