NURSERY/PRESCHOOL COORDINATOR (Part-Time)

Candidate should possess a heart and creative ability to disciple and train children in the godly principles we hold dear at EC Denver. The ideal candidate will have a strong relationship with God and be able to work collaboratively with the Children’s Pastor. The coordinator will provide ongoing ministry to children ages 3 months to 5 years.

Some Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist with scheduling, training, and recruitment of volunteers. Maintain a weekly volunteer schedule.
  • Vision casting and implementation for the children’s ministry department, weekly meetings, goal setting, and communication.
  • Help in creating/planning /producing special events throughout the year for the Nursery/Preschool and grade school programs.
  • Provides assistance to Children’s Ministry Pastor in assuring department compliance with Child Safety policies and procedures.

A High School Diploma is required. Previous experience in Child Education or ministry is preferred. Must be born again. Schedule: Part-time 10hrs weekly Sunday and some Wednesdays. Salary: $17.00 hr.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT Encounter Church (Part Time)

Encounter Church is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support for our Operations Dept. Candidates for this position will assist in leadership and promote teamwork in working with both outside partners and other departments to ensure effective systems and communications to our friends and partners. Assistant must personally, professionally, and spiritually embrace the mission statement, ministry values and principles, biblical and doctrinal beliefs, and standards of Christian character set forth by Marilyn Hickey Ministries, Encounter Church and Saving Moses.

Some Essential Job Functions:

  • Prepare communications such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, website updates, etc.
  • Create reports by collecting and analyzing information, and perform quality assurance
  • Assist with accounting documentation and approvals to pay invoices
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Assist with miscellaneous needs of the church

Job Requirements:

  • Prior administrative, marketing, and/or management experience
  • Excellent computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday 15 hrs/week. Salary $17 per hour.
